1) ST. MARY CATHEDRAL

St Mary's Cathedral, Perth, officially the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Perth.

You can easily spot it at the center of Victoria Square, and just within walking distance from my accomodation that was Hay Street's Traveller Inn. A leisure walk in the early morning around the street while taking some photos just made the day even more perfect.

2) BLUE BOAT HOUSE

How can u missed here when visiting Perth?

Blue boat house, which also known as Crawley Edge Boatshed, has a history of almost 90 years. It was constructed in the early 1930s’. And after many years, the boat shed continues to be a prominent landmark on the Swan River.

You can get there pretty much easy by using GPS navigation. It is very near to Perth down town area.
We drove our rental car there and parked it at the opposite street along the roads (Not being a big problem to us).

We were there by about 7-8am in the morning and there was not too much people around. Only few photography enthusiast there setting up their tripod and waiting to take some perfect shot of sunrise.
We waited till everyone left and had some enjoyable moments taking some "Instagrammable" photos together.

Tips : Get there earlier to avoid the crowd

3) KING'S PARK

Night View

Daytime View

Kings Park and Botanic Garden is one of the largest inner city parks in the world with a total area of about 400 hectares and is visited by over 6 million people each year. You can picnic on the grassy lawns or take a jog around the park. It was especially beautiful to look at the blooming flowers during our visit in the spring's season.

Kings Park's perfect location overlooks the Perth City and the silken blue waters of Swan River. From high above, you can see the twinkling lights of city, the sails of boats on the river, the distant Perth Hills and endless blue skies in Perth in daytime. They have a few platforms available to outlook the city view.

And hence, we went there twice to enjoy the beautiful view and compare how it looks like in the night and daytime.

4) BELL TOWER

The Bell Tower, also known as Swan Tower, getting this name from The Swan River.
It is consider as a landmark in Perth City and you can learn all about the history of the bells and the Tower when entering into the tower. And what mostly making people excited, is that you will get to chime a famous bell and receive a souvenir certificate.

We only get to go around there during the night time so yeah, a photo with the tower but didn't get the chance to enter into the tower.

5) NORTHBRIDGE CORICA PASTRIES

When it comes to MUST BUY foods in Perth, the Apple Strudel from Corica Pastries is in the top of the list for sure!

It is located at the corner of Aberdeen Street and we went there by driving with GPS navigation.
We were lucky enough to get to secure for 3 boxes of Apple Strudels (about $21 per box if not mistaken) by simply walk in. They were packing inside a hand carry hard box. We brought them back to Malaysia and after hours of journey, the apple strudels still look pretty fine with no sight of messy.

Too good to eat and we don't even take a picture of it. So sorry (T.T)

6) LONDON COURT

And if you love London, you will definitely need to have a stroll here.

London Court runs between the Hay Street Mall and St Georges Terrace and is considered an important tourist attraction in the City of Perth. Entering the main gate, you will found yourself in the enclosed lane lined with shops and stalls. Mostly selling souvenirs which is a little bit overpriced.
We bought our postcards here for about $0.50 to 1 per piece.

At the Hay Street end at the first storey level, a large clock chimes every quarter-hour, half-hour and on the hour. Four knights appear from a castle door and move in a semicircle each time the clock chimes as they apparently joust with each other.

7) FREMANTLE

Fremantle is a major Australian port city in Perth (Western Australia), located at the mouth of the Swan River. Fremantle is renowned for its well-preserved architectural heritage, including convict-built colonial-era buildings, an old jetty, port and prisons. This make Fremantle presenting a variety and unity of historic buildings and landscapes.

And of course Fremantle Market as always, is one of the leading tourist destinations in Perth and there's always plenty to see and do any time of the year. The market will only be opened for 3 days which are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so do plan your itinerary well. Don't ended up going there during weekday.

There are Wildlife Zoo open in the morning, plenty of cafes to enjoy your lunch or maybe a cup of tea or churros, and also over hundreds of stalls to shop for. Whether for kids or adults, Fremantle Market has something for everyone!

Building around Fremantle

Fremantle Prison

And within walking distance from the Fremantle Market, you can get to the Fremantle Prison to pay for a visit. To enable for getting a prison tour, make sure u reach there before 5pm. Tour price range from $22 to 75, depends on which package tour you are picking.

We illegally entering the train railway OOPSSS

And just across the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, you can spot the Tourist Wheel Fremantle! The Tourist Wheel has been in Fremantle since April 2013 and provides unprecedented views of Fremantle town and harbors. Also, it is a pretty good spot to take some photos!

8) COTTLESLOE BEACH

Cottlesloe Beach has been a famous spot for the locals to go for swimming, picnic, surfing and etc. Also, enjoying sunset view is a to-do-list around the beach.

It is located halfway between Perth city and Fremantle, and we were lucky enough to manage to reach there before sunset.
