SELF DRIVE IN HATYAI, THAILAND

1)  Is it safe to drive in Thailand?

YES, IT IS SAFE.
Suprisingly, most of the people in Thailand drives politely. (Except for some van)

2)  Is it convenient to drive in Thailand?
Not that convenient in peak season due to traffic jam and difficulty to find parking.

You can park your car in your respective hotel parking lot if it is at city centre as every places situated quite near to each others.

3)  How to navigate?
WAZE works pretty well for my whole journey.

First time in my life to drive in Hatyai after few times of visit.
Most of the people think that driving in Hatyai is not safe, now that after I had tried once, I have to object this kind of thinking as I think that it is pretty safe to drive in Hatyai.
They have clear sign boards all along the road. Road condition is quite good overall, except for certain places.

DURING CUSTOM CHECK

1) Hand in the immigration form and get your passport stamped
**2) Get your DECLARATION FORM

Step 2 is the MOST important step yet many people had forgotten. So do I. We had entered into Dannok and only realised we had forgotten to get the form, so we have to U-turn back to the immigration hall to get it done. So please please remember to get it at the counter outside of the hall.

To sum up our trip, everything had gone smoothly and we did managed to find parking for almost all the destination except for Kim Yong Market so we gave up and planned for others places.
